The conference was held almost a year ago, in September 2007. After reading the article I have some questions about the 2007 conference, the progress that you made since and the 2008 conference.

In the article above you describe some of the differences in how people use ICT in the developing countries and the developed world.
In your opinion: is that (statement) still true today?

In your final statement you write that, in her keynote speech, the Executive Director of the conference on Web2fordev […added that there has been a shift away from approaching at ICT4D as a stand alone sector and that a more mature approach has evolved, with the use of ICTs being integrated into development work e.g. in the agricultural sector. “This event, the stories and experience that you will share, will illustrate this.”]
Did the conference meet the expectations?

Does this mean that ICT4D nowadays is less important?
For those who are unfamiliar with ICT4D: the ICT4D Collective collective was founded in 2004. ICT4D stands for Information and Communication for Development and was awarded an UNESCO Chair in 2007. This UNESCO Chairs Programme (set up in 1992) was conceived as a way to advance research, training and programme development in higher education by building university networks and encouraging inter-university cooperation through transfer of knowledge across borders.
And finally a hint for the Dutch readers: a translation of the goals of the ICT4D can be found at:

Finally:
Can you tell when the next conference will be held?
