especially in Rural Agricultural Development in Africa cannot be over emphasised.The use of Participatory
Videos(PVs) for instance is an effective way of
capturing and sharing farmer-based experiences.Reproducing this in a vlog is a perfect way of promoting Development using web2.0 tools .These
processes have been found to greatly improve farmer
documentation in most part of Africa and in particular
Uganda.Eventhough there may be challenges in terms of
cost in procuring web2.0 tools especially Digital
Cameras, the most important and effective tools and
sometimes the issue of connectivity, there is a great
potential for web2.0 tools as a catalyst for improving
development not only in Africa but also in most part
of the world for rural Agricultural Development.

IC Collaboration Must Begin with Dialog!
I think the USD/I (General Clapper) sees a lack of collaboration as one of the biggest challenges facing the IC/MI. It is what motivated the powers that be to give him his dual role as Defense Intelligence Director and why his office is co-sponsoring the big IC conference that will take place in New Orleans this August where the goal will be to get decision makers and warfighters in the same room with analysts and requirements and collections managers for some open and honest dialog.
